Perfect Conditioning

By

Washing your hair always begins with using shampoo. But for some reason, many people don't recognize just how important the conditioning is. The process of conditioning is simple and also vital when washing your hair.

First of all, find a good-quality conditioner that you like. I've gone through many trying to find the one that is perfect for me. The best I've found is paul mitchell the detangler. I love it because it's thick and moisturizing but doesn't weigh my hair down. It also smells amazing and makes my hair so soft!

Once I've finished shampooing, I lightly squeeze the water from your hair so it will absorb the conditioner better. Following that, I apply just enough conditioner to go through my hair in a light layer. I used to use so much conditioner until I realized it was making my hair feel greasy and heavy. Now I use about a dime-sized dollop, which is just enough to condition my hair.

Once I've gotten my hands covered in conditioner, I run my fingers through my hair, applying slightly more to the ends of my hair and less on the crown of my head. Distributing it this way keeps my hair feeling light and silky without weighing it down.

After letting it sit for a few minutes, I rinse the conditioner out using warm water. Although hot water feels good, it is far more damaging to hair than warm water. When the water is really hot, it causes excessive drying of the hair.

Once I've rinsed out the conditioner, I lightly and gently dry my hair with a towel. Rubbing too vigorously with a towel, it is far more likely to cause damage and even breakage.

After carefully drying, the conditioning process is done! Hopefully by using a good conditioner and applying these tips, your hair will feel great, too!
